Monday Motivation

It’s Tuesday, but because of the long weekend, it’s basically Monday, and I couldn’t get my shit together yesterday to write this on time, so here we are…

As we approach the new year, I have been thinking quite a bit about resolutions. Not like the “lose 5 pounds” kind of resolutions, but the “be present” kind of resolutions. I’d rather focus on things I can do to be happier and feel more fulfilled, instead of focusing on the negatives and trying to fix them.

In an effort to achieve positive  changes, I realized that I need to do less. I am so used to overloading myself, and often find that I’m exhausted, burned out, and irritable as a result. So this week, as we all prepare for the new year (and new beginnings), I am focusing on doing less, focusing more, and focusing on the positives.
